A couple of years ago I happened upon the freshvac containers and I am so glad I did. They are
fantastic. I use them to keep fruits and veggies fresh much longer and they are
amazing for quick marinating anything you can think of. I can toss the
seasonings on our steaks, seal them up in one of these container and start
grilling the steaks 20 minutes later. Normally it would take hours to marinate.
Sealing the container is really simple. Just put the lid on and snap the sides
shut then give the center of the top a few presses to flush out the air and,
viola, you’re good to go.
There are several different sets available. The one I am showing here is one
of the 2 sets I have. If you like them just pick what you think will work best
in your household. Here’s a brief description of them from the amazon.com site:

I have not been able to find these in stores anywhere. I bought them through
amazon.com for myself and then later sent them to my mom and
sister for Mother’s day. This item has received my Tried & True
seal of excellence. My only recommendation: hand wash the lids.
It’s all dishwasher safe and I throw the bases in there but due to the heat I
prefer to hand wash the lids to extend the life of the rubber seal. The set will
come with a few extras too just in case you have an issue with getting a good
seal. Like I said, I’ve had mine for a couple of years now and use them
constantly. I have only replaced one seal so far.
Feel free to ask me questions and I would love to hear back from everyone who
gets a set. Let me know how much you like them!
